SUMMARY:
   This presentation walks attendees through the biblical, educational, and practical rationale for a biblical classification of life (as per the speaker's book on the same subject), as opposed to the prevailing taxonomic system. Then, the biblical classification is outlined briefly, along with some highlights of its implications and major tenets.
   The workshop version of this presentation is designed to help attendees grasp the nature of classification systems, and get a bigger picture of why biosystematics is so important and controversial.
